Former Bayern Munic star, Owen Hargreaves, has said that Brazilian ace, Neymar, is the closest player in the world to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Chelsea star, Hazard had been seen by many as the next big star after Messi and Ronaldo but Hargreaves thinks Neymar is better.
The Brazilian was in top form to help Paris Saint-Germain to an emphatic 6-1 home win over Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Neymar scored a hat-trick, including two eye-catching free-kicks β and was involved in almost all of PSGβs build-up as they blew their Serbian visitors away at Parc des Princes.
Hargreaves, a former England star, told BT Sports, βHeβs the only player Iβd say thatβs in that situation who could be close to Messi or Ronaldo.
βHe put on a show that few players are capable of doing. Free-kicks, he made them look like simple passes. The first one was breathtaking.
βLinking up with [Kylian] Mbappe, getting in the box, he played in a different position today. He didnβt play wide left, he played No 10 and he was breathtaking.
βThree goals, two [roles in] assists and literally β he probably could have scored or created about 10 goals.
βHe didnβt really show up at Liverpool, I donβt know why. Maybe he didnβt get a good nightβs sleep!
βThatβs the PSG [we know], when theyβre great, theyβre great. The PSG at Anfield disappointed quite a few people.β
