President Buhari yesterday, October 2, departed Abuja for South Africa to begin a three-day official visit to South Africa.
The president left the Presidential Villa around 1:30 p.m. for Pretoria via the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

According to the presidential spokesman; President Buhari went to South Africa to honor the invitation of his counterparts, President Cyril Ramaphosa to converse and discuss the welfare of Nigerians and how to build a harmonious relationship with their hosts
