Former Arsenal and England defender, Martin Keown has warned Manchester Uniter to be wary of the threat posed by striker Troy Deeney when they face Watford on Saturday.
Manchester United travel to Vicarage Road on Saturday evening looking to build on the three points earned at Burnley before the international break.
United face a tough test going up against Watford, with Javi Gracia’s side winning their first four Premier League games of the season.
Watford have quality all over the pitch but Keown has identified Deeney as the man the Red Devils will be paying special attention to.
“Mourinho won’t be thinking about defeat,” Keown told the Daily Mail.
“If you go into a game worrying about defeat then you will lose.
“They will be well aware of Deeney’s threat.
“Last season I was at Vicarage Road when Watford beat Arsenal and Deeney accused them of lacking cojones.
“He loves being a giantkiller and there are few bigger giants than Manchester United.
“Mourinho will know he can end Watford’s party.
“Alexis Sanchez played his best game of the season so far against Burnley.
“Romelu Lukaku looked sharp. Nemanja Matic’s return is crucial.”
“Deeney and Andre Gray are like Batman and Robin up front for Watford,” Keown said.
“Deeney is a bustling, physical, no-nonsense forward and Gray terrorises defenders with his pace.
“They work in tandem and must thrive on the way they keep proving people wrong.
“I was surprised to hear that Deeney felt he needed to lose a stone of weight in pre-season.
“The challenge for him is to stay lean and mean in attack.
“Watford started brilliantly then capitulated last season. Their aim this year is to avoid becoming another flash in the pan.”
