Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen has tasked Judges to be true to their duties and remain unfazed even in the forthcoming elections.
Onnoghen said this at the National Women Judges of Nigeria (NAWJN) 2018 biennial conference with the theme “Life After the Bench: The Judge Emeritus’’.
The CJN was honoured with an award for his continued promotion of gender issues at the conference which aims to address common cultural experiences, challenges and other issues pertaining to women in the society.
A book titled “Compendium of Papers presented at the 1st West African Sub-Regional Conference” and published in honour of Justice Clara Ogunbiyi, a former president of NAWJN, was also presented by the CJN. (NAN)
