Popularly called Tekno Miles, his birth name is Augustine Miles Kelechi, and he is a Nigerian Afropop singer, songwriter, dancer and record producer born on December 17, 1990.

Tekno has produced and recorded some of Nigeria’s biggest Afrobeat and Afropop songs. Some include Pana, Diana, and If by famous and international Afrobeat singer Davido and many more.

Tekno Miles is one of the few Nigerian artists who released the most hit singles without casting a studio album. Over the years, he has used his creativity and ingenuity to make gold music with catchy melodies and feel-good vibes.

In December 2020, he released his debut album Old Romance, which was produced entirely by him and included hit singles like Enjoy. Duro is another hit song by Tekno; as of now, it has over 90 million views on Youtube; Dj Coublo produced the song and it is considered a monster hit by many music critics.

Duro was released in 2015 and was praised by critics for its musical performance. The song helped in increasing his fanbase. A release to the music was released, later on, featuring Nigerian artists Flavour and Phyno.

Won’t be Late is a song by Canadian rapper Drake and American rapper Swae Lee, produced by Tekno and Mike Will Made It; the song was released on August 16, 2019. The song reached number 75 on the US Billboard Hot 100. And the song charted in other countries around the world like; the UK, Belgium, Sweden, Portugal, Canada and Ireland.

According to a review by Rolling Stone, it stated “the song’s “island and house-flavoured grooves serve as an undercurrent to [Swae Lee and Drake’s] rhymes, which discuss the merits of taking it slow in a relationship.”

If by Davido

“If” is a smash Afrobeat music hit recorded by Afrobeat singer, Davido and produced by Tekno. And was released as the first single of Davido’s eponymous studio album, “A good time.” Currently, “If” has over 151 million views on YouTube.

The song was one of Davido’s most significant music hits in his career; it’s an Afrobeat and R&B ballad where he expresses his love for his lover.

Holiday

“Holiday” was Tekno’s debut single as an artist and featured Afrobeat artist, Davido; the song was produced by GospelOnDeBeatz and released on April 14, 2013. Holiday became a hit in Nigeria, making Tekno a household name in the Nigerian music industry.
