Nigerian Music Mogul, Don Jazzy, has been berated by some Nigerians online after his comment about the now-viral ‘Sex for Grades’ scandal was tagged ‘Victim-blaming’.

Don Jazzy was of the opinion that some of the ladies were also guilty of offering their lecturers s*x for good grades, but he was however not in support of the accused lecturer.
His tweet read ;
I understand that some Ladies are also guilty of offering their Lecturers sex for good grades but I believe this documentary will be a deterrent. If the Students know their lecturers will reject their offers, they won’t dare make an attempt
However, his comment was highly misunderstood and some fans berated him.

Even if the girls don’t know if he’d accept or not. The lecturer should know that sex isn’t the answer to achieving academic success. They’re to reject the offer, others who read to pass their exams don’t have 2 heads.

This is not voice of any Don. This is ignorance. When a young girl gets into university or polytechnic, I don’t think the first thing she thinks is I will use my body to get grades. No!! When this happens, it’s because the lecturer has turned them. Few actually go along with it
