Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba has explained why he cannot predict his sideβs Champions League clash with Juventus at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.
Pogba, a former Juventus player, said he canβt predict the Red Devilsβ clash against the Serie A champions because the Champions League is like the World Cup where everything is possible.
Speaking ahead of Man Unitedβs clash with Juventus, Pogba told UEFAβs official website: βYou canβt predict anything in the Champions League.
βItβs like the World Cup. I see it as a high-profile competition with great teams. Everything is possible.
βThereβs a lot of emotions involved because I began my first season in the professional game and scored my first goal at Juventus.
βItβs there that I developed a player and so I have huge respect for the club. [But] Iβve come back home.
βI joined the youth academy here. Iβm at home here and it will always be that way. I grew up with my team-mates and weβve all been reunited again in the first team, so itβs a beautiful story. The career I have had and now, with this return to Manchester, itβs really splendid.β
βI must admit Iβm thinking about it [lifting the trophy]. I think all players want to win this title. Itβs my goal to take it home.β
