Barcelona midfielder, Arturo Vidal has suffered a fresh injury problem on his right knee while on international duty for his country, Chile.

According to Football Espana, Vidal sustained the injury during Chile’s training session in Sapporo ahead of their clash with Japan on Friday.

The 31-year-old has appeared as a substitute in each of Barca’s three La Liga matches this term.

Vidal, however, has suffered long-term problems with his right knee over the years.

The former Bayern Munich star may now be set for a return to Camp Nou, so that his club’s doctors can evaluate his condition.
