Kogi Assembly: Aledare picks Kabba/Bunu nomination form
A young entrepreneur and philanthropist Mr Akinwale Samuel Aledare has picked the nomination form of the Peoples’ Democratic Paraty (PDP) to contest for the Kabba/Bunu House of Assembly primaries in Kogi state.
Aledare who is a leading contender for the position told newsmen in Lokoja after picking the form that he is determined to ensure his constituent enjoyed good representation.
The young philanthropist who enjoys the support of women and youths in the constituency said he was confident the he would be the flag bearer of the party, adding that he expected nothing short of a credible primary election.
He expressed confidence that the party had learnt its lessons from mistakes of the past and as such would not indulge in irregularities like imposition of candidates.
Aledare added that imposition of candidates always jeopardised political parties and set members against themselves while expressing confidence that the PDP will remain democratic in its primaries.
“I am sure that the PDP will clinch all the electoral offices in Kogi state in 2019 because the PDP is reformed and the PDP remains the party for the people.
He urged all stakeholders and leaders of the party within the state to work assiduously towards winning the next elections.
Aledare commended all his supporters for standing by his aspiration, urging them never to relent on their supports at ensuring his success.
