Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri has singled out striker, Mario Mandzukic for praise following his side’s 1-0 victory over Inter Milan in the Serie A fixture played on Friday night.
Mandzukic’s goal was enough to ensure Allegri’s men defeated Inter to move 11 points clear in the Serie A table.
Allegri said Mandzukic was a great striker who always makes his mark even on bad days.
“Mario is a great striker,” Allegri said on Sky Sports Italia.
“It is not an accident he won the treble with Bayern Munich. He is a player who always makes his mark, even on bad days.”
“We knew the championship wouldn’t end today,” he added.
“But we still absolutely had to avoid defeat.”
