EPL: Marcos Alonso speaks on leaving Chelsea for Real Madrid
Chelsea left wing-back, Marcos Alonso has revealed that he never saw himself leaving Stamford Bridge despite interest from Real Madrid.
Alonso has been linked with a move to join the La Liga giants in the summer.
The Spaniard has scored a goal and provided two assists for the Blues this term.
The 27-year-old has admitted that he was not interested in a move away this summer.
He, however, said that he is ready to see out his current deal with the West London club which runs until the end of the 2020/21 season.
“I never saw myself outside Chelsea this summer,” Alonso told AS.
“I am very happy there, I have three years left on my contract and my idea has always been to stay.
“In England I feel very well known, not only by Chelsea fans, but also other teams.”
