EPL: Arsenal set to sign Liverpool left-back as free agent
Liverpool are resigned to losing Alberto Moreno as a free agent next year, with Arsenal keen on signing the left-back, the UK Mirror reports.
Moreno has only eight months left on his current contract at Anfield and so far has shown no interest in extending his stay with the Reds, after losing his first team berth to Andy Robertson.
Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, is an admirer of the defender, having worked closely with him previously at Sevilla.
It is believed Emery is already searching for reinforcements in that position in his team.
He has made 32-year-old Nacho Monreal his first choice since the start of the season and has lost faith in rival Sead Kolasinac, to such an extent that he has been using young midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles as back up.
