2019: Bauchi APC guber aspirant speaks on endorsement of Governor Abubakar as sole party candidate

An All Progressives Congress governorship aspirant in Bauchi State, Captain Bala Jibrin has said that only jokers and mischief makers would decide to endorse governor Abubakar as their sole candidate ahead of the 2019 elections.

Jibrin had cautioned the party against any act of injustice that is detriment to other guber aspirants and plead on the executive to toe on the path of honour for equal treatment yo all contestants under the ruling party

The guber hopeful exclusively spoked with DAILY POST in an intljerview in Bauchi Thursday

He said, the endorsement of Governor Abubakar did not come as a surprise but a justification that the sponsors were agents of government deliberately sent to scuttle the chances of other aspirants of the APC.

” It’s unfortunate if the party’s stakeholders had endorsed the incumbent governor, Abubakar deliberately against other guber aspirants of the APC,” said Jibrin.

Beside, Jibrin stressed that the party belongs to nobody, appealing for justice for all.

He fumed that he will not leave any Stone unturned while logically abiding by the electoral guidelines to pursue his governorship ambition.

” I’m not perturb by the power of incumbency in realizing my dream as Bauchi state next governor because I’m eager to rescue our people particularly students, youths, women from poverty,” Jibrin claimed.

He slammed APC under Abubakar for robbing the state of its economy following excessive corruption in spite of monthly allocation from the federal government.

According to the guber aspirant, he will not accept anything below justice.

While kicking against the indirect primary mode of election, Jibrin urged the APC not to ignore their complaints before the court.

He, therefore, urged the people of the state to vote out Abubakar with their PVCs come 2019 elections.
