2019: APC chieftain compares Buhari, Dogara’s electoral value ahead of general elections

An All Progressives Congress chieftain and Bauchi State chairman of the R-APC, Sani Mallam has said, Speaker Yakubu Dogara has more electoral value than President Muhammadu Buhari ahead of the 2019 election.

Mallam also claimed that the APC will lose the governorship seat to the opposition if nothing is done to correct the controversies affecting it in Bauchi state

He exclusively made the assertion in an interview with DAILY POST on Friday in Bauchi.

He said it’s undemocratic for APC to rule out that Dogara has no electoral value, meanwhile, he is not only influential in the nation’s political history, but worldwide.

“There is no truth about that statement that Dogara has no electoral value because his performance is a credit to APC compared to Abubakar. However, does it mean that president Buhari too has no electoral value when he lost contesting as president under the then ANPP and CPC respectively,” said Mallam.

It’s laughable that such a statement against Dogara is coming at a time the Speaker is very relevant in his constituency, Bauchi State and Nigeria in general.

“APC should thank the Speaker for vindicating the elected officers under its platform especially those that failed to perform like Dogara and sadly, even governor Abubakar did not performed like Dogara” Mallam claimed.

He cautioned APC to desist from character assassination.
