EPL: Manchester United in shock move to replace Mourinho with another manager
Manchester United are lining up Wolves manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, as a potential replacement for Jose Mourinho, according to Bild.
It is believed the Red Devils hierarchy are running out of patience with Mourinho after a difficult summer transfer window and a poor start to the Premier League season.
Nuno, who earned promotion to the Premier League last season with Wolves, is on the Old Trafford outfit’s shortlist to step into his Portuguese compatriot’s shoes.
There are fears that Mourinho is going through his ‘third season syndrome’ where he capitulates and plans are ongoing to replace him.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss has also clashed with key members of his squad like Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Eric Bailly and is thought to be losing the dressing room.
