Isco speaks on Real Madrid missing Cristiano Ronaldo
Real Madrid midfielder, Román Alarcón Suárez, popularly known as Isco has said the club won’t miss Cristiano Ronaldo, who signed for Italian giant, Juventus.
Isco explained that Ronaldo won’t be missed because so long as Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema maintain their form.
He made the assertion while addressing a Press Conference with the Spanish national team ahead of the game against England in the UEFA Nations League.
“Obviously, Cris is an extraordinary player who assures you 50 goals a season, but we know how football is. If we win, they will say that we don’t miss him and if we lose that, we miss him,” he said.
He also praised his team-mates at Madrid for rising to the occasion.
“Now we play well as a team. There are players that last year didn’t score the goals they are now doing. For now, we don’t miss him, but this is just starting. We hope to continue like this and I wish him the best at Juve,” he added.
