EPL: Morata speaks on Hazard leaving Chelsea for Real Madrid

Chelsea striker, Alvaro Morata has said that the club will be helpless to prevent star forward, Eden Hazard from joining Real Madrid.

La Liga heavyweights Real have been interested in signing Hazard for the past two years.

Just yesterday, the Belgium international admitted it would be a ‘dream’ to join Madrid

Responding to Hazard’s comments, Morata said the 27-year-old is capable of playing for any team in the world.

Morata, who spent two years at Real Madrid before signing for Chelsea, suggested it will be difficult to prevent Hazard from leaving.

Asked about Hazard’s honest remarks and whether he would fit in at Real, Morata told AS, “You can play him in any position.

“And if he has said it that clearly [that he wants to play for Madrid], then that’s the way it is.

“We’ve said that it’s not that he wants to leave Chelsea but if Madrid come in for him, that won’t be an obstacle.

“The thing is that he has a very good relationship with the club, he’s happy there and it’s not like other cases when a player wants to leave a club at any cost.

“But if it’s good for Chelsea they will keep that in mind.”
