Seychelles vs Nigeria: Onyekuru reveals what Super Eagles must do to win AFCON qualifiers clash
Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru, has revealed what Gernot Rohr’s men must do to beat Seychelles in Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match.
According to Onyekuru, the three times African champions must be ruthless in attack to score a lot of goals when they take on the hosts to get the victory.
“The game here is the most important, not just for me, but also the team. We are looking forward to playing a good game and to also make the country proud with a win,” Onyekuru was quoted by CSN as saying at a press conference in Seychelles.
“We need to score a lot of goals, we never can tell how that will play out at the end when we look ahead to the next game next month.
“Victory here in Seychelles is important.”
Onyekuru has made two substitute appearances since he made his debut in a friendly win over Togo in June 2017.
The kick-off is 1:30pm Nigerian time.
