Police arrests man who assaulted EEDC staff over ‘outrageous’ electricity bill (Video)

The Anambra State Police command have apprehended the man who assaulted some Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) staff after being served an electricity bill he claimed was outrageous at Umuoji road in Ogidi area of Anambra state.

It was earlier reported that the man locked in and assaulted the EEDC staff over move to disconnect his apartment from the power grid.

A video update shared on social media revealed that the man has been arrested by the police and will also be prosecuted over charges bordering on assault.
