Real Madrid on Thursday confirmed that defender, Dani Carvajal sustained a calf injury against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday in the Champions League encounter.
Carvajal came off during Madrid’s 1-0 defeat against the Russian side.
The right-back has been left out of Spain’s squad for the upcoming games against Wales and England.
He will also miss his club’s away La Liga fixture against Alaves on Saturday.
“Carvajal has a muscle injury in the soleus of his left leg,” A statement on Real Madrid’s official website reads.
