Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho is eager to sign Barcelona defender, Jordi Alba.
According to Don Balon, Mourinho wants to sign the 29-year-old to strengthen his backline at Old Trafford in the January transfer window.
Alba is one of the best full-backs in the world and his current contract with the Catalan club will expire in less than two years (June 2020) and it has a mammoth clause (FCB) of 150 million euros (£134million).
The Spaniard, who has won every major trophy with Barca, has played 66 times for Spain and scored eight goals.
Alba has played three La Liga games for Barca this season and has scored one goal and assisted two.
