Pictures: Dogara inspects NILDS new HQ, hails work pace

The Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara has gone an an inspection tour of the yet to be completed head quarters complex of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS)

Dogara who led a delegation of other lawmakers on the inspection tour was received by the Director General Prof. Ladi Hamalai who took them round the edifice which will be the hub of legislative training in Africa when completed.

Dogara who noted that their had been tremendous improvement from when he last visited in 2019, commended the institute and the contractors for the pace of work.

Recall that the construction of the complex was stalled due to lack of funds until 2016 when the President of the Senate Dr Bukola Saraki and the Speaker Yakubu Dogara visited and promised to release funds to complete the complex.

During his recent visit, Dogara noted with pleasure teh improvements that had been made so far.
