Army/Shittes clash: Aisha Yusufu reacts in anger
Co-convener of the BringBackOurGirls, BBOG, advocacy group, Aisha Yusufu, has attacked the Nigerian Army over the alleged killing of members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, also known as shittes.
According to her, the army should be ashamed of itself for engaging in cheap propaganda to justify the killing of the IMN members
In a series of tweets on Monday evening, Aisha wondered how the army has dealt with Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen.
Recall that on Sunday morning, Shiites on procession and the Nigerian Army clashed resulting in the death of three of the Shittes members.
Aisha in reaction tweeted, “All of this amateurish propaganda to justify your heinous actions? Please spare all of us. Killing citizens of Nigeria is now a normal thing.
The military will kill; Police will kill; Boko Haram will kill; Killer herdsmen will kill; Bandits will kill; Rioters will kill; Who is not killing?
“Dear Nigerian Army @HQNigerianArmy, you really should be ashamed of yourself. What happened to your Professionalism? What happened to the integrity that this noble force is known for?
“All this propaganda for Shia? How have you dealt with Boko Haram, Bandits and killer herdsmen?”
