Reports reaching DAILY POST from the office of the Oyo State governor in Ibadan, the state capital have it that Governor Abiola Ajimobi is currently in a close-door meeting with popular gospel musician, Mr. Yinka Ayefele.
The meeting, which was facilitated by one of the gubernatorial aspirants on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Joseph Tegbe, may not be unconnected with the Sunday’s demolition of Music House, a building which houses Fresh FM Ibadan, a radio station owned by Ayefele.
Our correspondent gathered that Tegbe led the musician and his team members into the Governor’s Office Thursday afternoon.
Details of the meeting still remain unknown as Ayefele and his team members are still at Ajimobi’s office at the time of this report.
It is believed that the intervention of Tegbe and others involved in the move will help persuade the governor to soften his stance on the issue.
